Oops! Japan #22 — Where’s the Veggie?

(ベジタリアンはどこへ?)Finding Plant-Based Options in a Country That Loves Fish and Meat 野菜を食べたければ自分で探すべし

English: Looking for vegetarian or veggie-heavy meals? Japan can be tricky.

While Japanese cuisine includes lots of vegetables, tourist menus don’t. If you’re plant-based, you’ll need to do research or use apps like HappyCow.

One recommendation from Reddit: Crayon House, known for healthy, organic, and vegetarian-friendly options.

日本語の補足: 日本食は基本的に野菜も多いですが、観光向けメニューでは肉や魚に偏ることも。ベジタリアンの人は事前に店を調べておくと安心です。「クレヨンハウス」などはおすすめ。
